CHRISTMAS/KIPAWA SATO CAMP
During Christmas and school breaks, collections are taken specifically to be used to give the children a gift or the family a food basket. During school breaks the children are given the opportunity to attend camps. For Christmas school items are identified and a request is sent out to sponsors asking for help to meet the need of school supplies or a universal toy for the school, such as a ball or another item that can be shared. If a sponsor wishes to send a monetary donation to a specific child, that specific child will receive the monetary gift, minus international processing fees.

The Kipawa Sato Camp is an organized camp the children can attend during school breaks. It gives them the opportunity to get out of the slums and actually enjoy being a child. They are able to sleep in tents, play games and participate in team building games. The cost to send a child to cap is XXX. For most families that is as much as a months rent. So most children are unable to attend unless a sponsor is willing to help. The fee allows the child to stay XXXX night and provides their meals, XXXXX and XXXXXX. Those that do attend have a great time.
Acts 20:35 In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’
