•Isabella is a fourteen year-old girl living in the
Kawangware slum. She and her two siblings live with
their aunt because they were abandoned by their
parents.  
 

•Isabella’s aunt has eight of her own children, which
makes the total number of children living in her house, eleven. The aunt is a widow who works very hard to
provide for the family, all by herself. She struggles to provide for all of the children, her own eight children, along with the three she took in.
 

•Additionally, they face the challenges of enough food,
shelter, clothing and school fees, the basic needs for survival.
