•James is a six-year-old boy living in the Kawangware slum with both parents. He is the fourth born in the family of 5 siblings. His father is a jobless drunkard man, leaving the mother as the sole breadwinner.

•The mother depends on temporary work where she does house help jobs. This allows the her to make enough for one meal or when work is good, two meals. Often, the work is not there so they often don’t eat. They also can’t afford basic needs like food, shelter, and clothing.

•Despite every challenge that comes at James, he`s very optimistic of the future. He is a very bright and hardworking young boy who loves playing soccer during his free time.

•He needs educational support.
