Meet Joan, a determined sixteen-year-old attending Karama School. Her life took a difficult turn when her father passed away in June 2015, leaving Joan, her mother, and two sisters to navigate life's challenges alone. With her mother unable to secure employment, Joan and her sisters rely on the support of their uncle and his family, despite his limited income as a social worker supporting his own four children. Despite these hardships, Joan shines academically, consistently ranking at the top of her class. With the right support, we believe Joan can unlock her full potential.
