Shayne Matiba, at just three years old, is the youngest member of her family and the only girl among her siblings. With her father having abandoned them, Shayne's mother, who is currently unemployed, bears the heavy responsibility of caring for her children amidst financial struggles. The family faces imminent eviction as they struggle to pay rent and afford basic necessities, including school fees for Shayne. Despite the challenges, Shayne's family sometimes relies on the sporadic income her brother earns from begging to put food on the table. However, this source of income is far from reliable. Shayne's mother holds onto hope for a better future, dreaming of the day when Shayne will have the opportunity to receive an education. Providing Shayne with access to education is not just about schooling; it's about laying the foundation for a brighter and more secure future for her.
